Being half term we took the opportunity to get away and spend the week in Wales in a caravan. We made the trip to Barmouth, on the West coast of wales which although a 3 hour journey was hold-up free which as a bonus.
The holiday park we stayed on has a lovely pool and the first morning we spent some time in the pool with the boys. They love swimming especially when they are in the pool with their mum and I.
After swimming and a spot of lunch it was time to hit the beach. The kids loved messing about in the sand and (in Harry’s case) the water!
In the afternoon we took a walk up a stream at Ysgethin. We walked up the stream where there was lots of waterfalls and lovely scenery and then back through the fields. Probably ended up being about 3 miles but it was great and the weather was fine too.
The next day we pottered around in Barmouth and headed to Portmadog to find an Aldi. We BBQ’d for tea with some swimming in between.
We headed of the next morning after swimming and brunch!
