Over the course of the last 3 days we have spent time on a short, child-free break in the stunning Langdale valley in the English Lake District. We choose again, having stayed there previously, to stay at the Brimstone Hotel in the Langdale complex.
The hotel is, well very posh! It is a 5 star service with huge rooms (we had the cheapest plush room) and wonderful facilities. I won’t go on about them, you can read all you want on the website.
Since our last visit the complex has a newly built spa which we visited each day enjoying relaxing in the Sauna’s and steam rooms as well as the infinity pool (more paddling that swimming though!). In fact the whole spa experience was very new to both of us and we really enjoyed it, although it reminded us of a certain episode of Frasier – Door Jam.
We have an amazing and relaxing few days to recharge the batteries and I would recommend anyone to give the Brimstone Hotel try. Below are some photos.
