Having already been for a week in the Easter holidays where we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves we decided on a bit of a last minute short break back to the beautiful Spanish island of Majorca, in the small port resort of Cala Bona.
Flying High
My wife loves the flight although it always ends up a long day travelling even though the flight is only just over 2 hours. The boys made friends in the airport and ended up getting all their toys out playing with a family that we off to Fuerteventura.
Messing in the Swimming Pools
We spent the majority of the week in and around the various pools in the hotel complex, which is only what the boys wanted to do. I enjoyed having a dive in and the boys eventually got comfortable in the deep end.
In and Around Cala Bona
It is a lovely little town with a little port where there are boat rides and lots of restaurants as well as the usual tourist type shops. There is even a beach where we took a little stroll after our meal one evening.
Eating Out
With so many excellent restaurants in the local area we went to 1 or 2 we had visited previously but also tried out some new options which was nice. We never had a poor meal.
I really like Majorca and of course Cala Bona and we hope to return for part 3 shortly!
