Our youngest was invited to a birthday party at Windmill Farm in Ormskirk. We had a great time looking at all the animals and playing about. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Everyone else had been before except me and I was pleased to greeted with a lovely, friendly, family atmosphere at Windmill Farm.
The farm has a number of ‘attractions’ including farm animals, pets, a miniature train as well as reptiles and snakes. In addition there are lots of play grounds and a soft play area for the kids to play as well as the cafe.

I used to play golf a lot when I was younger. I must have been around 14 or 15 and I used to go to this course at Highfield nearly every weekend. Having not played a proper round for a few years I headed back to Highfield on a sunny June afternoon for another go.
The course a lot smaller than I remember it, but I guess that was because, back then I was a lot smaller than I am now! We (I played with my father) at the first and both hit really good first shots nice a straight. I would love to say to the golf got better from there but, for me at least it was not particularly impressive.
