What’s in my bag?

Being into tech and travelling around to conferences, holidays and what not, I tend to carry around a fair bit of kit. Lets take a look what is in my bag.

First of all, I guess it is the bag itself which is not included in the picture. My bag is a Case Logic 14inch Laptop bag. It is not that big and sometimes I regret not having purchased a larger bag so I can fit more in, however it has its benefit being a bit more compact.

A short break near Grassington

Having been before and enjoyed the area so much we headed back to the area around Grassington in Yorkshire for a few days, staying in a lovely AirBnB house, while the kids stayed in the caravan with grandparents.

With the kids staying on the caravan site with grandparents, I managed to find us a lovely AirBnB place to stay within walking distance. It was delightful and pretty much like a 5-star hotel, with a full English breakfast each morning! We had our own living room with TV etc. bedroom and bathroom, all within the owners house. I would highly recommend Low Field farm if you are looking for something – Lydia, our host was lovely.

The Ricoh Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club

Having been to this event over 10 years ago as a marshal and thoroughly enjoyed it, and as the event was held at Royal Lytham & St Annes Gold Course which is not far I decided to go again and had a great day out in lovely weather.

If you have never been to watch a golf tournament before then I would highly recommend the women’s events. The players are brilliant and the crowds not quite as busy as for the men’s event.

In fact whether you like golf or not, you will still have a great day out, particularly if the weather is nice as it was today.
