Last year I attended the Women’s British Open here and had a great time. Therefore we I found out that more professional golf was being played this year I wanted to come along.
We were really lucky with the weather as the day we attended (Thursday – day 1) the weather was fabulous sunshine and warm.
It really is great to get up close to some of the stars that I used to watch on the TV when I was younger including Darren Clarke, Bernhard Langer, Fred Couples and Tom Watson to name a few.
The Royal Lytham & St. Annes golf course was in pristine condition. Fairways like carpets and green running true. Would love to play it one day.
Golf is well and truly one of the sports where you can get really close to action as some of these photos that I took on the day prove.
