Being a WordPress developer and owner of a WordPress development agency, most of the speaking events I have done have been entirely WordPress related. However tonight I presented a talk about how to write a website specification at Digital People in Peterborough.

I was invited to speak by Jonathan Frascella, who we have worked with at Highrise Digital for a number of years. When asked I jumped at the chance to share my knowledge of a topic that is relevant to anyone that builds websites for clients and even for anyone who is having a website built by someone else.

My slides from my talk on writing a website specification at Digital People in Peterborough

The talk was based on a popular post on the Highrise Digital blog about Writing a website specification.

After the talk we had a very entertaining 10th birthday quiz. However with the long journey home I had to leave before we found out the results of our team.
