We love visiting Cala Bona in Majorca. Last year we end up visiting twice. First around Easter and then again at the end of the summer holidays. When booking our summer holiday abroad (all wonderfully handled by my wife) we had no hesitation in booking again for the same resort.
Majorca is a lovely island and provides all kinds of holidays. For us, with two children it provides all we need. The kids love the pool(s) and then can spend all day playing around, diving in and going up and down the slides. For us it provides a nice relaxing place to sunbathe and is a good safe space for both us and the children.
I have just returned from a few days a way in a lovely part of the UK that I have rarely spent time in before which Anglesey in north west wales. We (the family) spent a few days with my parents, them in their caravan and us (me and my wife) in a nearby hotel. The kids – well they of course wanted to stay in the caravan with grand parents.
Today was the Leyland Fire Station Open Day. The fire station opened its doors to the public to allow us to have a look around the station, see the equipment they use and of course have a sit in some of the vehicles they use.
Being half term we took the opportunity to get away and spend the week in Wales in a caravan. We made the trip to Barmouth, on the West coast of wales which although a 3 hour journey was hold-up free which as a bonus.
The holiday park we stayed on has a lovely pool and the first morning we spent some time in the pool with the boys. They love swimming especially when they are in the pool with their mum and I.
Today was a Thursday like any other day, but it turned out to be a really interesting day and a very enjoyable one. The day had three bike rides, a run, a trip to the park and a great day at work. Nothing special but worth sharing some photos of.
Today I bought myself a bike which coincided with James getting his next bike as he had outgrown his smaller bike passed up from his brother. I am certainly looking forward to more adventure cycle rides like the one we had after tea this evening!
Today was our get away for the Easter break to the sunny Spanish Island of Majorca. We had an early start in order to at the airport for 0600 which meant a long day, which as I type is coming to an end. We had a fantastic week in the sun, not too hot and certainly not too cold. In fact we will be going back again very soon.
For the first part of the Easter break we decided to spend it with Grand Parents in the Caravan at Wirral Country Park caravan site. Having been before we knew it would be a lovely place to spend a few days with the children, with some interesting places to visit and of course lots to do on site for the kids.
