How to make a golf course yardage book

I have recently took up golf – again. Having played a lot when I was younger, and having played a little here and there, I have recently re-found my love for the game.

As a result of this I have been putting in a lot of effort into getting better and better, cumulating in me have some golf lessons (more on that later). As part of this one thing I did notice all the pros have a little book in their back pocket – the yardage book.

The Ricoh Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club

If you have never been to watch a golf tournament before then I would highly recommend the women’s events. The players are brilliant and the crowds not quite as busy as for the men’s event.

In fact whether you like golf or not, you will still have a great day out, particularly if the weather is nice as it was today.

9 Holes of Gold at Highfield Golf Course – Higher Wheelton

The course a lot smaller than I remember it, but I guess that was because, back then I was a lot smaller than I am now! We (I played with my father) at the first and both hit really good first shots nice a straight. I would love to say to the golf got better from there but, for me at least it was not particularly impressive.
