We have been to Cala Bona a few times in the last few years and we love it so much that we decided to have a late summer retreat back to the same place.
2 years ago we went to Majorca in the Balearic islands for an Easter break and although we have a great time, we wanted something a little warmer this time around.
After searching around, the Canary Islands, off the coast of Africa, seemed the best, and most cost effective option. We started to look around for different options and Lanzarote seemed to stand out. Not only did it come across as a great place to go on holiday, many friends and family had also recommended it to us.
We love visiting Cala Bona in Majorca. Last year we end up visiting twice. First around Easter and then again at the end of the summer holidays. When booking our summer holiday abroad (all wonderfully handled by my wife) we had no hesitation in booking again for the same resort.
Majorca is a lovely island and provides all kinds of holidays. For us, with two children it provides all we need. The kids love the pool(s) and then can spend all day playing around, diving in and going up and down the slides. For us it provides a nice relaxing place to sunbathe and is a good safe space for both us and the children.
Having already been for a week in the Easter holidays where we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves we decided on a bit of a last minute short break back to the beautiful Spanish island of Majorca, in the small port resort of Cala Bona.
Today was our get away for the Easter break to the sunny Spanish Island of Majorca. We had an early start in order to at the airport for 0600 which meant a long day, which as I type is coming to an end. We had a fantastic week in the sun, not too hot and certainly not too cold. In fact we will be going back again very soon.
